Fabasphere Preparation

The following steps have to be carried out in the Fabasphere.

Repository Creation

In order to prepare the Fabasphere repository, proceed as follows:

1. Navigate in the “SAP CMIS Integration” dashboard.
   Note: The dashboard is available on “Home”, provided you have been granted the appropriate permissions in the “SAP CMIS Configuration”.
2. Click “New”.
3. Enter a name for the repository and select an organization it will belong to (if several organizations are available). Click “Next”.
4. In the context menu of the repository click “Properties”.
5. Switch to the “General” tab, copy and save the Fabasphere ID of the repository.

API Token Creation

An API token is a password that will be used by BTP Destination to access SAP CMIS repository in the Fabasphere.

To generate a new API token, proceed as follows:

1. Open the account menu (person symbol) and click “Settings” > “Access for Applications”.
2. In the API Tokens field click “New”.
3. In the Valid for field select “SAP CMIS Web Service” and in the Validity Period field select the wanted validity period.
4. Click “Next”.
5. Save the API token for later use (it cannot be displayed again).
