Prerequisites

In order to configure the CMIS Integration for SAP S/4HANA the following prerequisetes must be fulfilled:

• For the Fabasphere user who will act as a repository owner, i.e., service user, the “SAP CMIS Integration” app is needed.
• Inside SAP BTP, a dedicated subaccount with Document Management Service must be allocated by navigating to the Service Marketplace in your subaccount and choosing the Integration Option.
  
• An SDM instance for Document Management Service must be created.
  
• In SAP S/4HANA, a business user with a business role must exist. The business role must contain the business catalog SAP_CORE_BC_COM (Communication Management), for example, and the business role SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR (Administrator).
