Fabasoft Approve now offers the option to review documents collaboratively with multiple people as part of a peer review.
The peer review can be initiated via the menu or the “Start Peer Review” step, provided that a corresponding peer review process has been configured in the repository settings. There, you can specify the individuals who are to review the document.
The selected reviewers receive a task to review the document and can add comments or notes in the peer review. These are synchronized with the document and are available to all participants. The approval process continues only after the peer review has been completed or all necessary feedback has been provided.
Document codes now allow documents to be categorized according to a defined structure.
Document codes can be created, for example, for shelves, projects, partners, or areas. The top-level category is known as the document code root. A regular expression can be defined for this root to specify how the underlying codes must be structured.
Multiple document coding nodes can be created below this root. These, in turn, can contain further nodes, thus forming a hierarchical structure. When creating new codings, the system automatically checks whether they conform to the defined structure.
These document coding nodes can then be linked to documents, either directly via the coding or via the document itself. This allows documents to be classified in a structured way and makes them easier to find.

In Fabasoft Approve, translations for applications and configurations can now be improved or automatically completed using artificial intelligence.
The ‘Translate’ function allows existing translations to be reviewed and optimized. The AI analyzes existing texts and compares them with existing terms and glossaries. Missing translations can be automatically added.
In this way, for example, the names of forms, processes, or configuration elements can be quickly translated into other languages. This makes it easier to use applications in international organizations or with multilingual user interfaces.
The chat feature in Fabasoft Approve has been updated so that the AI’s responses now include clearer source citations and references. This makes it easy to see which documents or content a response is based on. In addition, the chat feature takes the history of the conversation into account more closely, ensuring that responses are better aligned with the context of the conversation.
These improvements make it easier to search through documents and help users find information more quickly.
