As a user you can expect the following new features.

Publishing Documents

With the new document publishing feature, documents can be published to specific targets within Fabasphere. This allows documents to continue to be edited, reviewed, and versioned in their original environment, while approved content is simultaneously available in other areas.

Documents can be published to various rooms within Fabasoft Approve Correspondence as well as to other solutions such as Fabasoft Approve Records, Fabasoft Approve Quality, and even customer-specific solutions. There, the most important information is available in a condensed view, such as the latest document entries and comment entries.

Here is a Document Publish Container that contains three already published documents in different revisions.

Publishing makes it particularly easy to separate the editing of a document from its distribution to other target groups. This ensures that users receive exactly the information they need without having access to the entire editing process or all intermediate steps.

Publishing targets can be assigned directly to document lists. Documents can then be published specifically to the desired targets. Multiple publishing targets are also possible.

The Rooms that are to serve as publication targets must have the “Published Documents” (SOLAPPROVECORRESPONDENCE@111.100:flddocumentpublishingcontainers) property assigned to them (e.g., via a category).
