As an end user, you can expect the following new features.

Support for InDesign 2024 (19.x)

Users can now edit InDesign documents in version 2024 (19.x) and use InDesign Server 2024 for prepress, PDF generation, and XML round-trip.

Additional Download Formats

As a user, you now have access to a wider range of download formats, each with additional features.  

PDF Preview of Xeditor Documents

Users can now view a PDF preview of Xeditor documents, which can be customized to meet their specific needs.

Administrators

As administrators, you can expect the following new features.

Support for InDesign 2024 as a production service

As an administrator, you can now select InDesign Server 2024 in the production services of the publishing configuration. Similarly, you can create InDesign templates and delivery formats for the new version.

Configuration and Administration of Advanced Download Formats

As an administrator, you can now define more complex conversions when creating download formats in the DAM configuration.

Manage Xeditor preview settings

As an administrator, you can configure preview settings for the Xeditor documents used by users, enabling the automatic generation of PDF previews. These settings can be customized down to the individual document level using PrintCSS.
