Learn more about the new features and improvements in Xpublisher.
As an end user, you can expect the following new features.
You can now trigger a publication for products created using InDesign Server at the level of print components, sections, or individual layouts.
You can obtain a preflight report for the publication via InDesign Server if this option has been enabled by the administrator in the delivery settings.
By clicking the "Synchronize" button on a product, you can now easily use the list of "Assigned Assets" locally—for example, to place assigned images in InDesign layouts.
Users can now save products with standard structures as templates. By applying these templates, pre-structured products can be easily recreated.
As administrators, you can expect the following new features.
You can now optionally associate a preflight profile with a deployment format to be applied during publication.
You can now use the 2025 version alongside the InDesign Server 2024 production services, delivery formats, and layout templates.
You can now enable an option in the publishing configuration so that layouts whose page count may have changed receive a warning.
