As an end user, you can expect the following new features.

Optimized AI summary

The various offerings for AI summaries have been placed in more sensible locations. Now it’s possible to save the summaries for contents and topics.

Improved user experience in Media Edition for Contents

Users of the Media Edition no longer have to follow the previous workflow for contents; there is now greater flexibility.

Improved usability in Media Edition

The tiles "Media Assets" has been renamed to "Assets", the tile "Channel-Specific Variants" has been removed.

Assigning Print Articles by rubric

When assigning or creating a Print Article, the article is linked to the appropriate location in the structure tree.

Administrators

As administrators, you can expect the following new features.

Optional use of rubrics in Media Edition

In the Media Edition configuration, you may now specify whether you want to work with rubrics in the context of topics and contents.

InDesign 2026 as a new production service

You can now use the 2026 version alongside the InDesign Server 2025 production services,
delivery formats, and layout templates.

Additional PDF tagging options for the Antenna House Formatter

The "new-tagging-mode" option in the Antenna House configuration is now available, enabling improved creation of tagged PDFs.

REST API for permissions on Projects and Products

You can now set permissions when creating and updating projects and products via the REST API.

Enhanced REST API for Contents in the Media Edition

The various Content types in the Media Edition can now also be managed directly in workspaces and magazines via the REST API. Previously, they had to be assigned to a topic.
