Administration Tasks
In the following chapters you will find administration tasks that can be carried out by scrum administrators and partly by privileged users.
- A scrum administrator can administer and define the team members and security settings of the scrum center and all assigned scrum projects. Additionally, a scrum administrator can create new scrum centers.
- A privileged user can administer the scrum center and all assigned scrum projects, but is not allowed to define the team members or security settings.
Prerequisites
To be able to use Fabasoft Scrum, the corresponding solution has to be enabled. As organization owner or organization administrator, navigate to “Licenses” > “Solutions” in your organization. Execute the “Enable” context menu command on “Scrum Projects”. Refresh your web browser. The “Scrum” dashboard is placed on “Home” and a first scrum center is created automatically.
Scrum (Personal Dashboard)
The personal dashboard provides two actions for scrum administrators:
- Create Scrum Center
Creates an additional scrum center. This is for example necessary, if scrum projects need different scrum center settings. - Create Scrum Project
Creates a scrum project in a scrum center.
Note: This action is also available for privileged users of a scrum center.
Scrum Center
The scrum center allows defining general settings that apply to all subordinate scrum projects. The team members of a scrum center either have special access rights on the scrum projects or can be assigned to the scrum projects as team members.
Note: On the basis of the defined users the consumed licenses are calculated.
