Users

As an end user, you can expect the following new features.

Individual Permission Control for Proposals

The permission management for proposals in Fabasoft Boards has been made more granular and secure. You can now define fine-grained access rights directly at the level of individual proposals, independent of general committee permissions.

Converting Meeting Documents to PDF

Meeting documents can now be saved directly as PDF. To do this, use the “Save as PDF” option in the menu.

Administrators

As administrators, you can expect the following new features.

Optimization of Automatic Meeting Participants

The automatic generation of meeting participants has been made more flexible to keep lists clear of administrative or purely authorized users:

• Exclusion of Purely Authorized Users: A new checkbox, "Disable Automatic Meeting Participant List Updates of Authorized Users and Teams" is now available in the committee settings. When enabled, users or teams who only have access rights are no longer automatically listed as participants. The list is restricted to actual committee members and manually added guests.

Undo the “Preparation Complete” status for meetings and agenda items

The meeting administrator now has the option to reset a meeting that is already in the “Preparation Complete” status back to the “In Preparation” status. The same can also be done for agenda items in this status.

Return to dashboard from configuration sites

From configuration pages in Boards, you can now navigate directly back to the home page using the "Switch to Dashboard” button in the menu.
