Users

As an end user you can expect the following new features.

• Stamps can be defined as Microsoft Word documents or images and applied to PDF documents. For more information about this feature, see: https://help.cloud.fabasoft.com/index.php?topic=doc/User-Help-Fabasphere-AI-Core-eng/collaboration-with-teamrooms.htm#stamping-documents: new window
• When converting e-mails with attachments, no overviews are created for video and audio files.
• The probability of a search being aborted due to a timeout has been significantly reduced.

Administrators

As an administrator you can expect the following new features.

• The Manage Master Data of Members and Manage Master Data of External Members organizational policies allow you to define which members are allowed to change the master data of members or external members.
• The SaaS usage type “Full Access” can be assigned to external members.
• As an organization administrator or if you have the Manage Organizational Structure policy, you can define organizational unit administrators for individual organizational units (via the “Define Administrators” action in the respective organizational unit). Organizational units are accessible to organizational unit administrators via an organizational dashboard on the “Home” page. Organizational unit administrators can perform the following actions:
  • Create directly subordinate organizational units (the superordinate administration settings are applied) but not delete them
  • Create and delete directly subordinate positions
  • Edit the properties of the organizational unit or directly subordinate positions
  • Move organizational units and positions (rights to the source, target, and the object to be moved are required)
• Administrators of an external organization may manage the master data of an assigned external member if the external organization is the primary external organization of the external member (“Organization Membership” tab > Primary External Organization field).
  Note: The Primary External Organization field can be used to select a different external organization as the primary external organization if the external member is assigned to multiple external organizations.
• To simplify administration, external organizations or teams can be stored hierarchically using structuring folders. You can move the elements either by drag and drop or using the corresponding move context menu commands. The “Remove” context menu command is only available for items that are stored multiple times in the structure. Folder structures can only be deleted if no external organizations or teams are stored in them.
• The following PDF/A formats are available in the organizational policies on the “Content” tab in the Final Format field: PDF/A-3b, PDF/A-2b, and PDF/A-2u.
