Fabasphere AI Core 2026 April Release

Find out more about new features and improvements in the Fabasphere AI Core (available from March 30, 2026).

Users

As an end user you can expect the following new features.

• Default processes can now also be started when properties are changed. An app.ducx expression can be defined as an additional condition for starting a default process.
• The minimum size of signatures and signature areas has been reduced so that a signature can be inserted into a standard-sized Excel cell.
• When importing MSG e-mails, the Recipient and To: fields are treated separately. If To: is not present in the e-mail, the To: field is no longer filled with the recipient data.
  When importing EML e-mails, the TO and TO-LIST of the e-mail are used for the To: field. TO is no longer used for the Recipient field.

Process and Form Designers

As a process or form designer you can expect the following new feature.

• The context menu commands available for activities in the worklist (e.g., “Delegate”) can be restricted. To do this, the Restrictions for Actions in Context Menu of Activity Instances field is available in the BPMN editor at the pool level under “Applicable for”. At the task level, the corresponding field is available on the “Extended” tab.
  Note: For process administrators “Delegate” is always available.

Administrators

As an administrator you can expect the following new features.

• In the organization policies, you can specify the minimum retention period for audit log entries (in days) on the “Content” tab in the Retention Period for Audit Log Entries (in Days) field (min. 400 days). If no value is defined, audit log entries are not deleted regularly.
  Note: For existing organizations, no value is defined by default; for new organizations, a value of 430 days is defined.
• The AI indexing configuration provides following new setting:
  • Use AI Content
    Defines whether an additional content property should be indexed for AI use.
  • Content Property for AI Indexing
    Defines the property that should be additionally indexed for AI use.
• The usage of the Fabasphere Client can be restricted to certain domains. If VALIDDOMAINS is empty only *.fabasoft.com is allowed, otherwise only the defined domains are allowed. Discontinuation

Microsoft Visio for the Web is no longer supported due to technical limitations.
