Users
As an end user you can expect the following new features.
Administrators
As an administrator you can expect the following new features.
- The actions of the organization in the “Advanced Settings” area have been reorganized. The settings that were previously accessible via the “Define Policies” action are now accessible via the three actions “Define Policies”, “Define Presettings” and “Configure Fabasphere Client.”
- Solutions can provide functionality extensions that are assigned to the entire organization or individual organizational elements, depending on the functionality extension.
The available functionality extensions are listed in the organization under “Usage” > “Functionality Extensions”. The following context menu commands are available:- Assign (only available for assignment type “Organizational Elements”)
You can define the organizational elements that are to receive the functionality extensions. - Change Assignment type to “Organization/Organizational Elements” (only available if permitted for the functionality extension)
You can change the assignment type from “Organizational Elements” to ‘Organization’ and vice versa. - Enable/Disable “Assignment Changeable by the User” (only available for assignment type “Organizational Elements”)
You can define whether users are allowed to disable the assigned functionality extension (account menu > “Basic Settings” > “Functionality Extensions” tab).
Note: If the functionality extension is assigned to the user by multiple organizations, it can only be disabled by the user if permitted by all organizations.
- “SAP Integration” and “Change and Asset Management” are now generally available.
- In your organization, under “Usage” > “AI Consumption Information,” you can find the volume of indexed documents and API calls used per endpoint (including the history).
- The machine registration directory of the Fabasphere Client has been moved:
Apple macOS: ~/.fsc/machine > /Library/Preferences/com.fabasoft/machine
Ubuntu: <DocumentsDirectory>/.fsc/machine > /etc/fabasoft/settings/machine
