As an end user, you can expect the following new features.

Structure planning of content

In addition to the possibility of planning layout-centered documents with InDesign, as of this version it is also possible to plan content-centered documents in a structure tree. For this purpose, sections and chapters are available, which structure the content objects.

Publishing books in parsX Standard

In addition to the capture and editing of the parsX XML standard in the Xeditor, the parX converter from pagina GmbH is also integrated as a service in the cloud as of this version. With an additional license, this allows the creation of PDFs and EPUB publications of a parsX product.

Publishing HTML content from JATS XML

With the help of the fully integrated transpect service, HTML exports can be generated fully automated from products with JATS XML content.

As administrators, you can expect the following new features.

Publication service and delivery format for parsX

Administrators of the multichannel publishing solution can now define production services for parsX and associated delivery formats for PDF or EPUP generation in the configuration.

Publication service and delivery format for transpect

Administrators of the multichannel publishing solution can now define production services for transpect and associated delivery formats for JATS to HTML generation in the configuration.
