A calendar item (Follow-Up, Deadline or Date) allows users of Fabasoft Contracts to organize their legal files in terms of time.

You can define the following fields in the properties of a calendar item:

Tab “Follow-Up”, “Deadline” or “Date“

Note: Depending on the type of calendar item, this tab is either “Follow-Up”, “Deadline” or “Date”.

  • Type
    Defines the type of the calendar item.
  • Subject
    Defines the subject of the calendar item.
  • Priority
    Defines the importance of the calendar item.
    Note: This property is only visible for the type Follow-Up.
  • Date and Time/Deadline Expiry
    Defines the date or deadline of the calendar item.
    Note: This property is only visible for the types Follow-Up, Deadline.
  • Reminder Date
    Defines the reminder date on which the users entered in the Users for reminders list are notified.
    Note: This property is only visible for the calendar item types Follow-Up, Deadline.
  • Date Category
    Defines what type of date this date is.
    Note: This property is only visible for the type Date.
  • Date on/at
    Defines the date and time of the date.
    Note: This property is only visible for the type Date.
  • Date Until
    Defines the end date and time of the date.
    Note: This property is only visible for the type Date.
  • Location
    Defines the location where the date takes place.
    Note: This property is only visible for the type Date.
  • Done
    Defines whether the calendar item is completed.
    Note: When this option is activated, the status of the calendar item changes to Done and when this option is deactivated, the status of the calendar item changes to Expired if the date Date and Time/Deadline Expiry is reached, otherwise the status changes to In Progress for Follow-Ups and to Created for Deadlines and Dates.
  • Done on/at
    Defines the date on which the calendar item was completed.
  • Done by
    Defines the user who completed the calendar item.
    Note: This property is automatically calculated and filled with the user’s name who completed the calendar item.
  • Comment
    Defines the comment for this calendar item.
    Note: This comment is also sent in the reminder message.
  • Users for reminders
    Defines the users who are notified when the reminder date is reached.
    Note: The creator of the calendar item is automatically entered in this list.
  • Documents
    Defines the documents that are related to this calendar item.
